OK. SO last night I saw an incredibly beautiful OBW by "stephanie" I made a comment that I wouldn't be posting any pictures. Oh mistake! :D :D
I got an instant private message from a very nice person "elizabrat" that we all share good and bad. So I promised I would post a picture. Please don't look too closely. :D
I immediately finished it so here goes. This is a piece of children's fabric (see upper corner) that I got on sale and didn't by enough of it.
Major dilemmas
1. Should I toss it or try to do something with it? I could donate it away as I have no babies but would anyone want it.
2. If I finish it how should I quilt the top?
I have another one that I started before I finished this one but I'm afraid I have the wrong fabric for that too. :-(

I agree with everyone. Very pleasing arrangement. I would see if I could get a solid blue to match or coordinate and use it for an additional border, and make it a bit bigger.
I would just stitch in the ditch around the hexes. Then you could just meander the border(s). Then if you still don't like it, donate it!
I also did a small one for practice that I'm not thrilled with, but I'm still going to finish it to practice quilting a OBW if nothing else!
