I love your quilt and what you did with the border. Beautiful pick of fabric to work with, to make this gorgeous quilt.

Beautiful! I'm working on my first kaleidoscope. I would love to see what the original fabric looked like. It was a perfect choice.

Great fabric choice! Fine quilt. Not being quilt police, I don't want to find any minor error. I like your border too.

One of the best OBW's that I've seen! I love the border and hope you won't take offense if I say it inspires me to try to do one like it one day!

WOW. This is the nicest OBW quilt I've seen. Love how you have concentrated the placement of the hexes with more black background on the upper right hand side and lower left hand side - it really gives the quilt a lot of movement and depth!

BTW I named it "she'll be apples" as it's a slang way of saying "it will be OK" as after I had finished it, I found a mistake in one of my hexagons can you find it ?

yOU PICKED a great fabric to start with. I took the class and used a coyote ugly kingsize sheet and it turned into a coyote ugly kaleidoscope quilt!!!! lol Love the border!

Wedges are cut from 6 layers of printed fabric in exactly the same location of the print (stack and whack) so that you have 6 identical wedges for each hexagon, and then sewn together as Kaleidoscopes. Google One Block Wonder. The quilt shown here is made of all of those hexagons cut from the fabric you see on the back.
