Thanks to a tutorial by Cutie. I jumped in the OBW pool. Way easier than I thought. Will post pictures when I finish getting it sewn together.

Too cool!! I tried it, but my fabric was a bad choice so now I'm searching for better fabric! ;)

That quilt is going to look so awesome!! I'll be anxiously awaiting the pictures of the finished project!! My 11 year old niece is a horse fanatic and would absolutely LOVE the fabric you chose! Who is the manufacturer and/or designer and the name of the design? I would like to locate some to make a quilt for her.

I like the idea you have of placing your blocks on individual paper plates. I'll have to steal that one!!! :D

wow, beautiful fabric and thanks for taking a picture of the fabric before cutting and showing it cut up, I can't wait to see the finished quilt

Looking at the plates makes me hungry, sorry!

Somehow they remind me of pies, yummy.

I would like to see the quilt done too, it looks great so far.

That is a great tip --- using separate paper plates for each block. Sure it could be used for other blocks but how creative. Thanks
