These aren't sewn together in rows yet, still playing with the order of the zigs. Or zags, whatever. LOL
This is coming out so nice. I love the colors as well as the design. You are making great progress.Originally Posted by billswife99
Here's a little more progress. And the border, I will use it for the backing too. This is getting too big already and I still have 2 more fabrics to use! It's supposed to be for a baby, they are naming him Triton, that is son of Neptune I believe. So therefore, the sea life. These aren't sewn together in rows yet, still playing with the order of the zigs. Or zags, whatever. LOL

Love the fabric and the design...sure looks easy enough on the tute. Will be interested in knowing the demintions of the top after the border is on. I've had size get away from me myself.

Jenell, I dont think making it bigger than baby sized would be a problem. I made a baby quilt for my niece oversized and she loved that fact. She had plenty of "crib" quilts. Besides, the child can cuddle with it YEARS longer. Your ocean quilt is coming along beautifully!

Need a little help here with the layout, can you all vote 1,2 or 3? Sorry they are so similar and I'm sure your eyes are tired of looking at them but I can't seem to get it to flow just right.
