    Default Ode to the Northern Lights
    [ATTACH=CONFIG]549286[/ATTACH] This is an original design combining bargello techniques with 10 degree strip piecing and applique. My fourth large quilt and the first original. I used 23 different batiks to do this one.

    That is stunning! The bargello technique really gives it movement and the batiks you chose make it glow.

    WOW! I love "art" quilts. I have made two so far, kept one and gave the other away as a gift. They are so much fun to make.
