    The quilting is perfect for those tops. I love the fans on traditional style quilts.

    Those are a work of art! Also, I learned something new--I did not know that was called a Baptist fan!

    My Mother quilted by hand and used the "Baptist Fan" pattern. She used a piece of chalk on a string and drew the pattern on the top. It brushed away after quilting. This was a typical pattern used in the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's in Central Texas.
