I have the BT pattern, just haven't gotten around to it yet. This is the first purse I ever made. I took a class, the directions were terrible but the instructor (who was the author's best friend and admitted she was teaching the class because she was much better at instructions than her friend) was great, I made copious notes to clarify the instructions, and because it was summer I just had to do the beach ball thing.

Front view, I use a magnetic snap

Inside it has 2 pockets and it's really roomy

What is the name of the pattern? Or the designer's name?

Ok, so I had to go get the pattern, which is in my UFO bin with the 2nd purse I have yet to complete.

It is called the Manhattan Handbag, by Pink Sand Beach Designs. Since there were so many questions about the directions, they may have been rewritten and/or improved since I purchased the pattern (which was around 3 years ago), and they are still doing classes on this purse at my local dealer.

If you get the pattern, I'd be happy to put my notes on a tutorial if you find you need some help.

It may not be a bow tuck but it is still fantastic.
