My son also quilts. He also machine quilts with my daughter. Men have such a different approach to the method of piecing. I will post a couple of his quilts when I learn how. He also has a black belt in karate. I;m very proud of his work.

hey Billy, Love the "Rhapsody" best I think. They all are really good. I have been teaching my husband to sew and he likes it also, as long as he can still go fishing.lol

I am pretty much self taught when it comes to quilting. I did have a few pointers and coaching from a couple of dear friends BJ Gates and Anne Kusilek. If I ever got into a bind or needed someone to bounce an idea off of, they were always the ones I would go to.

Like Anne I use a Model 15 to do all of my FMQ on and she explained how to do really large quilts on one without having to deal with frames and fighting the material. She and I have almost the exact same set up when it comes to quilting but I use a treadle. :D

Then I found this board and thanks to everyone here I have learned tons and have gotten a lot of inspiration from the photos and post that are made.

You guys make really awsome quilts. I am trying to get my dh to try but he won't. I even threatened to quit helping him in our shop until he tries at least once to run the machine. I have a QC1000 also and Eddie you are right it is the greatest.
