T, these are adorable! Dresden plates can have as many as 16 petals can't they? I'd say this is a D Plate I just checked Rhonda's ebook on Dresden plates. Think she has ones on the smaller side--here it is:

Can't wait to see how this will turn out. I do very little applique, don't know why. The AAQI site has design inspirations for just about anyone--maybe it's a color combo or a technique. G
