I think you made the old fabric look modern.....Good for you! I have been using some 90's fabric myself lately. Hehe.

you did yourself and the fabric proud. It came out very pretty. I love quilts that are beautiful in the pattern and work put into them, not because of flashy fabrics or gimicky stuff. Don't get me wrong I find beauty in those flashy contempory quilts as well just not the same warm comfortable feeling I get when I look at a quilt like the one you made. Job well done
