Cool Old Guys really do Rule!
I just love the way this came out from the fabrics to the quiltling! The fabric is from Robert Kaufman and has the funniest sayings about Old Guys! I took a panel and fussy cut the squares for the middle of the blocks and found some matching fabrics for the borders of the blocks. I have been making so many kids and femine quilts I thought it was time to something manly! The back is black minky and the quilting pattern is called Hot Nights - just love the flames they really add to the car theme. This was a fun quilt to make!

That is fantastic. Did you use a stack of 10" precuts in a collection for the colored backgrounds in each block? Great design!
