Hi carrie,
The quilt is a beauty, I van see why you like it.
Are you going to make yourself one? The string quilt is a great way to use up those scraps that multiply while we aren't looking. LOL!
I love another design that is a scrap quilt (like you like this one) It is called Tennessee Hard Times. It has a red background too.

That is a spunky quilt. She must have been doing the happy dance when she came upon that one!

very nice!! after having made a diamond pattern quilt somewhat similar to this quilt i can tell you it is not as easy as it looks. a real find. is there any indication as to the quilt maker? it would sure be nice if it had a label.
thanks for sharing.

Very nice $5 find, I really like the look of the red diamonds alternated with patchwork diamonds.

Yes .. I sure will!! I will scan it in tomorrow and put the pic up here on this thread if that is ok.... ??? It is also a scrappy quilt in one of my older quilt books. I also have a tennessee waltz quilt booklet I bought to stockpile for a someday quilt. Very Pretty ... Have you seen that one? (Google has it in the search images.)
