Old Santa

Picked up bag of old quilt pieces already cut up at an antique shop. Decided to try making an old Santa. Didn't have a pattern, so I was just winging it! I think his hands/mittens are too big. Oh well. He will join all my other primitive Santas that I like to display every year! Thanks for looking!

Your old Santa is very charming. I think it is great to be able to 'wing it'. Enjoy your new addition to your Santa collection. I love the old Santa charm. Great save for the old quilt.

He's adorable and I don't think his mittens look too big! Can't have tight fitting mittens and hold those reins and hand out all those presents! I'd love to make one but wouldn't know where to begin!
