Default Older Quilt with mathcing stained glass

This is my beginner applique quilt. It's over 30 years old. I learned not to use taffeta (the sun) for appliques.

The medicine cabinet hangs in my bathroom.

Too bad you used the wrong fabric, it's still lovely.

Charming! I imagine the sun having a solar flare right about there! We live & learn!

Can you repair the sun, take out the taffeta and replace it with a cotton maybe with a metallic or glitter finish to make it sparkle? They are very pretty quilts. Well done.

Very nice. Maybe you could applique something on the damaged area.
