    This is what my Mom always said was a Labor of love! I have a couple to do also but have been so afraid I would really ruin it. This gives me an incentive to try to SAVE these TREASURES!

    Lol...it was either redo it or make stockings out of it for christmas. My daughter would have been so upset with me. I just want to keep it functional. I would have happily cut it up into stockings that could be cherished for the rest of my life.

    What a treasure. Yes the label should have the history. I'm so glad it was you that had the quilt not someone who would just throw it away. You did a great job saving it.
