Beautiful work Deb. I think the Ombre does add visual interest but your design is so well executed it would have been equally effective on a solid.

I really think your quilt is lovely in every way. I do want to say that the Ombre fabric lends so much interest to your quilt. The point of a whole cloth quilt is to emphasize the quilting but your use of fabric just brings a double emphasis that I find is just wonderful. I haven't done it yet but I plan to make a whole cloth quilt using Fossil Fern fabric and your quilt encourages me to go for it-have to move first!
