Can't wait to see it completed
I really like the pattern. I wonder how it would look with this fabric for the squares http://www.felinedrive.com/servlet/t...t%3F%21/Detail
a pale yellow background & the black.
What do you think?

I can understand why you couldn't resist working with that fabric. Keep us posted on your progress.

I love starting a new project! Maybe it's because there's always a chance that "this one" will come out even better than I though it would, or that "this one" could be my first perfect quilt (hasn't happened yet, though!)

Fancyfoot, I checked out the cat fabric...sounds cute to me. I think it would be great for a large scale print too, as the square in this block is 12 1/2 inches which ultimately makes each block 18 1/2 inches. This goes together quickly and easily, which gives me ideas for several fabrics in my stash.....maybe more to be made from this pattern.

I can certainly see how this project called out to you to start now! What a neat pattern and your fabric selection is spot on!! I cannot wait to see this one finished!

And who the heck cares how many UFOs and PIGS you have! The quilt police will not be knocking on your door any time soon!!
