Really like the colors.....reminds me of Lady Bugs......I have a Great Niece (18 months) who just loves Lady Bugs. At her first B-Day party, she even had a LadyBug cake.

Those are the best kinds. I make up patterns as I go too.
I was especially intrigued with the red print circles in the body of the quilt. Now that I have looked closer at them I think they are half circles appliqued on to the yellow wide strips. However you did them it turned out to be a great variation on the quilt.

You are about to have some very happy little ones in your world when they get their quilts.

The fabric does have lady bugs on it. I just didn't take a close up to see them.

    Hi,
Your baby quilts r beautiful. I have 17 g-children and 3 grt. grands. I have made them all a quilt! some are queen and some are king, all different sizes and no 2 alike. I am now making baby blankets and putting them in a trunk for all the un-born- Grt Grands to come. The parents will pick one from the stash of baby quilts.

Betty, this is a great idea. I sometimes wonder when I get done with these quilts, who will I make them for. I'll keep your idea in mind. Thanks
