    One Block Star

I am working on a quilt for a wedding - the invitations had a western theme so the fabrics are western style - cowboy hats and boots and riding horses. The pattern is from Winter 2010 Fons & Porter Learn to Quilt. I still have to add the border and it is suppose to be a 60"X72" but I need it a little bigger to make it a full size.

Very nice! Very dramatic. Love that the backgrounds on the corners and middle are just a titch different - make it more interesting!

Nice, that goes very well with their theme. Very Western colors the brown/tan/reddish-green. Can't wait to see this when it's finished.

It is nice! Seeing how it looks, literally, like one block. Would love to see something else in the pic that would give it's true size comparison. How much time did it take you to make? Was it easier or more difficult due to the size of the pieces?
    Go forth and sew!

It looks great. Add some borders. You can do a border top and bottom only to make it a rectangle and then add a border or two on all four sides and it will be larger faster. The fabrics are great colors.
