These blocks will be used in a quilt that will be raffled off next year to raise money for the Home Arts Department for the fair. Names from the contest participants will be drawn for the remaining blocks (usually 12 or less depending on the number entered). It's lots of fun to do and the raffle money goes to a great cause. Here's pictures of the two blocks I entered.
#1 is my favorite, but 2 is beautiful too

I was thinking the same thing myself. After they were both finished I had them laying on the table next to each other and said to myself...."hummmm".

I'll have to let you know on Friday. That's when I'll find out.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I'm sorry I have to keep you in suspense too but when they notified me they just said they picked "one" of my blocks as the top 12. That's why I posed the question to you all, but it looks like its a toss up so I'll (we'll) have to wait until I go to the fair on Friday. I'll try to get pictures of the other 11 for the raffle quilt and the other entries and post them so you can see them all.

I already voted that I couldn't vote :D but one thing I love about both is the use of plaids in such a pleasing way. I always shy away from them but they look fantastic!!!
For those who didn't see my post they are just so pretty I can't decide. :D
