I took a class to make a strip Lone Star. The day before class I still hadden't made up my mind about the colors to put in the quilt. So...I asked my peeps on Facebook. A lot of different ideas, but I liked my friend, Liz in Canada, colors best.
    She picked:
    Brown for Mother Earth
Dark blue for the night sky
Red and White for the Canadian Flag
Red, White and Blue for the American Flag
And.. Pink because we are Ladies!!
So I finished it up yesterday and off it goes to Liz. It is only a month late for her birthday, so she is getting an un-birthday gift. Hope she likes it, since she picked the colors. LOL
