    need to think what to do w/ the borders scrappy 9 patches or what
    any suggestions?????

    I'd skip the borders and just do pattern right out to the edge. So that the final blocks being right at the binding edge, add on three full rows (to match your insert sections) of the multi-beige/white lights. Then a scrappy binding of all the darks will nicely set it off.

    What size do each of your nine patches finish at?

    the pattern consist of 3 inch square and 1/2 square triangles
    using lights and darks or multi color of scraps
    fun to make !!!!!!!
