Designing and making toddler/baby quilts for sick children is one of my passions, I try and do them as often as I can. I recently found out about a little baby boy born in my town with kidney failure and designed this quilt in EQ, pieced it and just finished quilting it. It still needs to be bound and have a label embroidered.

I used traditional Baptist Fans on this one, and King Tut's new Omni thread... which I love!

Great quilt! I love the 3-dish effect of the hollow diamonds. Your baptist fan quilting is impeccible. Did you do this using a circle lord, panto or is it CG?

Thanks, and yes I'll share the EQ file. There's no "pattern"... if I could write a pattern I'd write a book! LOL My website server is down this morning, when it comes back online I'll upload the file and post a link here.

Beautiful! And your piecing and pressing is outstanding. Here's hoping your efforts bring the little one comfort.

Your quilt is just gorgeous! Everything about it is just too beautiful for words! What can I say that will do
justice to the work or the worth of this quilt. You must know that your quilts bring comfort to the little ones who receive them and joy and hope to the parents as they see their child relax with something that feels like 'home' in this big strange place! God bless you for getting involved in such a needy organization!

Awsome thanks bunches. The blocks look easy, just the sashing is where I would have problems. But none the less, that is one beautiful quilt...and such a generous heart you have. :)
