    Don't let them intimidate you. Try one of the "Lazy Girl" designs or patterns. Or go for any of a zillion free bags online. Start with just some cheap fabric and do a basic tote to take to the grocery store to "go green" and if it isn't perfect, who cares? Just go for it; I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
