finally got the book. love working on the quilt but, the colors are driving me crazy. i didn't want to invest too much in case i didn't like working on this pattern. found this at WM for $4 a yd. will definately do one in softer colors. what do you think

I am not a huge fan of the colors in the original fabric, but it does make a really striking OBW! Maybe your eyes are just a bit tired from the brightness? Take a little break to work on something else, maybe just a few hours or so on a UFO. I would bet you will look at it differently when you go back to it. It looks great!!

I worked on one that I didn't particularly like all of the blocks in, so I tossed out a few blocks and it all came together better for me. I like our quilt as it is, but you might try tossing a few blocks aside and seeing what happens.

I think it looks fantastic. Hard to believe its the same fabric (which is a bit "out there".). Maybe as Craftyone suggested give your eyes a rest...but do finish it, you have made a very average fabric shine.

I like your quilt.Same thing happened to me,colors too bright,so never got finished.Maybe I'll try another one some day for a wall hanging.
