I like it without. If you do choose to leave it in, a bit smaller might work better. But then what do I know, I'm just a beginner. :roll:

I laid all my blocks out, thought about it for awhile and I think this is what I'll do; Add one other, smaller, flower, place them lower so they look like they're in the basket and only applique a few blocks in the quilt, like 3 or 5 (there's 18 total blocks). Sound like a winning idea? :)

How about just one flower and just one leaf? I'd do that in each block. Perhaps add a second flower to just one or two.

oh I LOVE THE FLOWER! YES APPLIQUE!!! THEY ARE SO... CUTE! Makes me want to start another dog-gone project...oh you guys are killing me!!!
