You ever start something as a practice piece and it just kinda grows from there? Well, I wanted to master the "Boston Block", so I used a few stray FQ. Everything turned out perfect on poing, the fabrics blended, so I just pushed forward with the FQs and then add some yardage. Anywho, just wanted to share. Thanks for looking.

    Practice turned into this...

Very pretty. I really hate to make sample blocks. Of course I wish I had when I mess up my 1st block. lol

Doesn't it make you feel good when something like that happens? Like it was just meant to be. Sure looks good. Love the colors.

Looks to me like a job well done. It's a beautiful quilt center or a table topper. Love the pattern and colors.

Great job. I love it when something like this develops from a seemingly small idea. Wonderful job. Thanks for sharing.

    Love it-your block looks perfect!

I like to make my practice pieces into something too... my current avatar pic was a practice piece for a "square me up" ruler my daughter got for me.
