I'm finishing the same quilt from a class as well. Unfortunately, I lost my mind, and decided to make a queen(96x96). What a nightmare to baste, and because the basting on my floor was so difficult, the quilt is bunching up in certain areas as I quilt. Not to mention the bulk in my 9"harp. Yours looks great. How do you plan to quilt it? I have just stiched in the ditch around all the stars and about half the blocks-I have the other half to go. Then the borders. I should have just meandered and been done-it would have been much easier.
