One of my sisters sent this idea from a Martha Stewart mag--giant log cabin. I had been wondering what to do with scraps of seersucker material.... They are almost identical. I did have to purchase some white to do the bindings.

this is bottom quilt laid out on floor-not finished

Looks great. I haven't seen seersucker here for ages. Would be great for summertime. Years ago I had seersucker tablecloths, they were brilliant, no ironing required!

Center block 12 x 12--others are 6 x whatever length was needed up to 42"

what a great idear could dress them up with fancy quilting applique embroidery [allsorts ]--and i also like them just as they are
