I would use either a tiny checked or dotted fabric as a binding.

That is a very nice looking quilt. It will fit the bill for alot of people who don't like the traditional quilts. Has a very clean look.

I am with you Sunnie. I prefer amore traditional, controlled pattern also, but I must say this quilt is outstanding. I love it! I am sure your friends will too! Great job!
