Love your quilt, and think the problem with the lavender block is the width of stripes (only the lavender) are so big compared to other stripes Could you add narrow stripes or rick rack to make the stripes appear thinner and break them up a bit?

Looks very interesing, I would add some rick rac to the lavender on your large block to break it up, might even be fun to try other embellishments on it. Will have to see more as you decide on how it will be when you are finished.

I always like your scrappy quilts! You are able to put scraps together in such an interesting way. I think I need to put some of my oddball blocks together and forget about my 'matchey' side that has recently surfaced! lol
