Thread: Owl Panel Quilt Fully Detailed

    I finished this owl panel quilt for my MIL who collects owls this morning. Every feather and each and every pine needle were stitched around. The pine cones and all were detailed. The twig frame looks like I went into the woods and collected them just for this. I'm really proud of it and so is DH! :-)

    Nice, I have this panel and didn't know what to do with it. Did you do this by hand?

    That is gorgeous! It must have taken quite awhile to stitch each feather; but well worth the effort. Thank you for sharing.

    No, it's all machine quilted. The thread matched the colors so well, I keep finding jump stitches I missed, but the birds look like they could fly off, so was well worth it.

    Actually started this on July 31st and finished this morning August 21st. Not too bad.
