I hope those of you in the area can make it to this show today or tomorrow.

For those of you who can't visit the show, I will post some beautiful quilt pictures..they are all my favorites! Thanks for looking!

These frogs were 3D on the lily pad.

This one and the next one were made by the same artist (and with the same background material).

Everything was raw edge appliqued onto the blocks

All made with bias stips...oh, my!

I'm a sucker for iris! This is gorgeous!

I love the veggie cats!

Hawaiian Applique -- don't know what it is, other than gorgeous!

The quilting on the cachina body was muscularly true -- amazing!

An antique quilt that I just love!

This one made the sharks look 3D!

Thanks for posting. I'm in Southern California, so I will be going to the Pomona show.

Wow! There are some stunning quilts being shown. I wish i lived close enough to go to one of these shows. I have a book to make those optical illusion quilts but have never tried one. Maybe I'll have to try and fit one in with everything else I have going.

Wow - you had a great day and you shared it with us. Thanx. Can anyone tell me more about raw edge applique?

This is the Pacific Northwest Quilters guild quilt show (37th annual this year) in Portland Oregon, right off interstate 5.

A wonderful show. Thank you so much for sharing. I wish Portland wasn't a 5 hour trip for me. I would so-o-o like to go.
