    Paige's Stained Glass Quilt

I posted this last year when I completed it, but a friend said she could not find it and neither can I, so I am posting it again. If you haven't already seen it, I hope you enjoy. Thanks

Your quilt is gorgeous! I love the stained glass look. With the batik white it looks like glass. Just curious - did you double stitch the bias tape or zig zag? How did you back, bat, and quilt it?

Your quilt is one of the most gorgeous quilts I have seen. It is so unique. I would love it if you gave a tutorial and explain how you did it. What is the pattern name or did you design it yourself. You are very talented. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

It is gorgeous. Since I do stained glass with real glass, I love the wonderful fabrics you chose because they look like the glass that I would actually use.

This is just awesome, so beautiful. I've always wanted to try to make a stained glass quilt but don't know that I'd have the patience ...it looks so complicated. Thanks for sharing with us.

I should have mentioned in my post that I used Debcaven's tutorial here on the Board to make this quilt. Her instructions are great! The pattern is from a site on the internet call "Free Stained Glass Patterns". They are for real stained glass windows, but work great for quilts and they are FREE. Thanks everyone for looking. This is a beautiful quilt. You need to put this in a show of some kind.
I haven't tried a stained glass yet. I think this needs to go on my list of things to do.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...s-t110571.html This is a great tutorial. I made a small piece and I really like the process. I'm eyeballing the windows at church Thanks for showing your beautiful quilt.

That is a beauty. You sure know how to create stained glass. I am not that creative.

It's beautiful, and a fantastic rendition in fabrics, I might add! I used to have my own stained glass studio...many eons ago, but my hands started really giving me trouble so had to give it up about ten years ago. I miss it! Thanks for sharing.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Definitely one of the prettiest wall hangings I've seen. Thanks for posting.

I just had to look - here's your original post. The quilt's upside down in one of them, but it's beautiful either way.
