It was worth every painful stitch.

That is one gorgeous quilt! I sooo miss hand quilting...just something about it that is soothing and connecting. Unfortunately now my finger looks more like the needle and I have learned to enjoy and be grateful for the sewing machine. Great accomplishment!

Your quilt is lovely. I am so sorry to hear of the struggles you had with it, but it has turned out STUNNING! I applaud you!

Your quilt is lovely. I am amazed that it only took 6 months. I have started one that I work on in the evening when I listen to the TV. It is nice to have something to do while just sitting there. I think it is just going to grow and grow until I like the size. I saw one at the Loomis Quilt Show a few weeks ago, it took 45 yards of muslin and was super huge. I think she worked on it for 6 years. Thanks for sharing. You have inspired me to keep plugging away. What is your next project?

That is just beautiful...you really did a great job. I am trying to get the nerve to start one but am still on the fence!
