Painted Pansie quilt, star quilt with left overs. q

Neither is bound yet. The pansies are hand painted for the carpenter's star. It is about 80 inches square. The star quilt is left overs from several quilts including the pansie quilt. Even the backing was left over from another quilt.

It is probably apparent from both quilts that I love quilting feathers.

May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

The pansy quilt is glorious. What plans do you have for it?

I am not generally a huge fan of fabric painting, but your execution is so good, and the colours and layout are just spot on. The thread detailing is great as well. I love everything about it!

I also like the other one, but the first one is a gold medal winner, imho.

Those are both beautiful quilts. Pansies are one of my favorite flowers and I think they just made that quilt. Great job.
