    Well, here is the results of last night's efforts!! If this is the first one of my painted quilt blocks you've seen, do a search for the others under Painted Shoe Number....

    You'd be amazed...I only have 4 pairs of shoes to my name.

    I hope you're making paper patterns of all the shoes as you go. I'm sure a lot of quilters will be wanting them, including me. I love shoes.

    this shoe would work in a breast cancer quilt - the strap looks like the pink ribbon. am liking all of your shoes. can't wait to see the finished quilt.

    I'm curious if these painted blocks can be washed.
    If so what kind of paints do you use?
    I painted some pillows with an acrylic fabric paint, which said 'not washable'.
