I did a google search and was surprised to find that there blankets were made frm tree barks all around the world... from China, Africa, Native Americans, Hawaii to the Middle East, etc. What a surprise to learn so many cultures have used tree bark. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us all.

Gosh! This is one of the most unusual quilts I've ever seen! Is it layered?
