What a cute quilt! Just love the fabric blocks and how you incorporated it into the quilt.

Great quilt - wish I had found fabric like that to make "paper" dolls for my DGD.

That is very cute. I saw this fabric and thought how would I use it. Now I see what to do with it. I loved paper dolls too as many have said. Oh to be honest I still love them. I think I need a panel like this for me.

[QUOTE=nygal;6101692]I love the fabric and paper dolls. I played with paper dolls a LOT when I was a child.[/QUOTE

So did I. Loved them. I also had them for my dtr. when she was little. Too bad little girls don't seem to do this kind of thing anymore. Another activity I loved as a child & a little older was playing JACKS. Never see that anymore either. I tried to buy them to teach my dtr. how to play but the little balls were so bad they couldn't be used. Such memories. None of our playthings needed batteries or needed to be plugged in.

I remember anxiously waiting for my Gramma's new McCalls magazine to get there each month so I could get the newest paper clothes for The Betsy McCall paper dolls. Don't remember if we got a new doll each month though. But new clothes for sure. Aaaaah...the memories!!!
