    Actually the binding was easy, there were no mitered corners to deal with. Because the circle was larger, I did not have to cut the binding on the bias (I cut it on the crosswise grain of the fabric. It has more give than lengthwise.) After I trimmed the quilt to size, I pinned the binding onto the back and sewed it on from the front so I would not cut off my points. I then turned the binding to the front and hand sewed it down. I did press one quarter inch along the outer edge of the binding to make it easier to sew down after it was attached.
