Here's one I did tonight - only took me 45 minutes from start to finish!! That's better than all day like my first one! I'm excited - This will be part of my sampler quilt. I couldn't believe all of the awesome patterns on quilterscache.com for paper piecing, they are beautiful and very intricate. What a challenge!! :D :D

Most definitely Amma, Thank You!!! Now I'm not so limited to just traditional blocks and I'm not afraid to start any new block anymore. Something more to be creative with - YAY!!!!

Thank you Sharon & Janstar!! I appreciate your encouragement!

You did great on your first try! I don't know how it got the reputation of being difficult...fear of the unknown I suppose. But I think it's pretty easy once you try one. :)

Thank you! I was afraid of the unknown when first attempting pp'ing. Ammas tute on it is perfect. I think it's pretty simple now, it takes some time to cut out the material first but is well worth it. I got on a roll with the last block using chain piecing and it went much faster than doing one thing at a time. Good luck to all who try it, it's fun to do!! :D

Beautiful work! I LOVE pp as there are no limits! I can do really complicated pieces just one step at a time! You are on your way! GREAT!

Thank you! The name of this block is "Beacon Lights" from quilterscache.com. I'm working on "Caned Seat" now, should be pretty nice when done, I hope.
