My parrots are coming together. Started in jan they take a lot of time, but i wanted a challenge. Hopefully off to the quilters in may. This was a kit fabric kona solids.Never used this fabric before anyone else used this as as much as i press it still seems a little wrinkled. Someone told me that's the way the fabric is .Wont be notably with all the feathers. lol

Oh but they are so cute!! If you find they are taking too long to make, you might try putting something else between the rows--like palm trees or maybe coconuts or even a row of tropical huts. The black background really makes those birds POP!! Is it hard to work with?

Yes, the black background really works well! I made a small version of this pattern as a baby quilt ... love it!
