Girl you sure got the hang of this. Its beautifully done, ove the border. In this area of Ok we do not sew down the little sq in the center of the block. It facinates children and ladies too. This is a very popular design. Helen

I love the quilt and the colors. Is that a gingham that you used for the check blocks? This may sound like a dumb question but is this pattern limited to the three colors? I think I might add a fourth --- yellow check with a yelow butterfly prink for the on-pint square.

Or maybe add a yeelow check as a small border befor the larger border and then use the yellow check as the backing. I see this as a baby gift and a perfect gift for my niece that whose baby (a little girl) is due this summer
