It is exquisite. It is just on track for what I was wanting. You did such a wonderful job. We have such great group. I sure will put my name in again if I'm asked.

I had forgotten that Robert didn't want purple - I actually thought it would be neat to pull out that little bit of purple from the center, but luckily (I guess) I never found any that worked. I might have been in trouble had I found any!

I need to get busy on Abonda's before Robert sends me another one.

Linda, I believe Deb is sending my center to you for the next round. I am attaching a picture of pieces of fabrics that I have left from the original fabrics that my bird blocks are from. There are four bird blocks (although one white is different from the other 3). There is some of the red, some strips that have birds in them, some strips that have pinecones in them and some of flowers. If any of you still to work on my quilt wish to have any of these, I am happy to send them to you. I just didn't want to increase anybody's postage if no one wanted any of this and I didn't figure Deb needed it for the 3" round but someone doing larger borders might like it.

The red I used was the exact one you used. Now I wished I did the pinecone embroidery. I had one I just wasn't sure if you were going in that direction.

What you did is beautiful. It can go in any direction anyone wants to take it. That's what I love about the round robins. I know I've looked at a center and thought that I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, but by the time it got to me it had a totally different feel to it. That's what's so much fun.
