Well, all I can say is WOW OH WOW. That is really cool. Can't believe you thought it was "not difficult"....it looks hard...all those curves. You did a fantastic job. Thanks for the info on pattern/book. Will have to "store" that info....have always wanted to do a curved quilt. I must say, it's beautiful...one done in batiks, like you suggested, would be a stunner:) Thanks for sharing.

I love those thicker templates, but since I've already traced mine on thin template plastic, don't think I'll invest. Of course, if you planned to do more than one of these swirl quilts, the thick templates would make it much easier to rotary cut.

Thanks for sharing the information. On second thought - I just might buy the nice thick ones!

i found the book at the library. It is in the book "All Quilt Blocks are Not Square." By: Debra Wagner. They call it candy swirl. I think I will try it. Not sure what color I am going to try.

I'm going to make my own templates out of stiff plastic too. but thought someone else might want purchased templates.
