It is a pattern, Simplicity, I think. I have patterns for a dog, cat, teddy bear, caterpiller, and dinosaur. I think these will be what the grandkids get for Christmas. It only took 3 days to make. I can get 1 a week done and have them ready before August.

That's great! The texture of the blanket will be fun for him to touch and when he out grows it (not sure how big it is!), it would be fun to use on a wall as an art piece.
