Nice to have some perky new mitts around. I was just looking at my old ones the other day, wondering when I'd get my "round tuit" to make myself some new ones. You've inspired me

Thanks for all the very kind comments, you're all so sweet. I hate to use them and get them messy but I was getting almost burned with my last mitt so time for new. I finally finished the grill mitt...

I didn't use a pattern per se, I just traced around my old oven mitt, adding width for the seam allowance and length for more arm coverage. There are lots of free patterns and tutorials on the net though. Good luck with your project Jordan, I'm sure your granddaughters will love them.

Your grill mitt looks so nice. Thank you for your advice and I will go searching on the internet. "Mr. Google" is my favorite person per say!! I think I could do just what you did--trace a mitt and add seam allowance and extend the length. Great idea-thank you so much.
