Everything that could go wrong, did. I even managed to sew my quilting golves to the quilt at one point. lol Tonight, I don't even like it. Maybe by tomorrow I will feel better about it. This is a charity quilt. I wanted to quilt overlapping circles all over the body, but I couldn't figure out how to keep them symetrical. It is basically STD but with decorative stitches in dark brown. You better be riding a really fast horse when you look at this one.

I do all of my quilting with SID, and I haven't had one returned yet. It is a beautiful quilt. I understand what you mean about sewing your glove to the quilt. That is embarassing.

Thanks Tinker. I don't think there is anything at all wrong with STD, I'm just tired and frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to do what I had in mind.

I think the quilt looks great. But I know what you mean, I just finished the family reunion quilt for this year's reunion. I swear I took two steps forward and four back while making the darn thing. This quilt was emotionally draining, essentially because it was in memory of my sister who passed away 2 years ago in Sept. The family loved the quilt though, even though it wasn't quite finished and they only had pictures on my e-mail.

Looks very nice to me. I like it. I really don't think anyone will return it! :)

I was once hemming a skirt and stitched it to my robe!

I don't see anything wrong with it or maybe it is the fast horse going by.
