    Default Patriotic quilt is done

I haven't posted in a long time but I do read them! I looked back and saw that I had posted progress pics of this quilt so thought I would post the finish. Since there are 13 stars in the quilt, the 12 small ones and the center one, I thought to do 13 stripes, like a flag. I drew long, waving lines across a print out of the quilt for guidance on placement and went for it. Each stripe has a different fill, yes, 13 of them! Took me weeks to do since I work full time and so glad to have it done, bound and everything.

The pattern is Agave Garden by Judy Niemeyer. Hardly looks like the same pattern in these colors.

Still a stunning quilt. Can't ever go wrong with a Judy Niemeyer pattern. Very pretty how the white bobbin thread made an interesting and lovely pattern on the back of the quilt.
