Default Patriotic Rooster Wall Hanging update

This is what I have so far. I need sashing between the outer stars. The top star is the star I actually wanted to use. Did not bookmark the page and one of the grandchildren closed the link without permission and could not find it again. Then found another at Heyquilts with Mary Pons and decided to go with this one. Should I live it are made another so the all match? My opinions are the blue fabric with stars in the background, white or try and match the gold or tan color in the rooster. What are your thoughts?

i like the top center star as it has the same feel as the corner ones with the white open space.

I'm not sure of your question. But imho; The top star looks out of place to me and I like the large, solid blue star block and would replace if you could. Also, think the blue star fabric or gold would be good for sashing. If you have enough of the striped red fabric, I think if would make a great binding.. Let us know what you do...and see the finished quilt.

I LOVE that rooster panel - is it something you got recently?

No I've had it for about 2 or 3 years. Taken me just the long to figure out how to add what I want to it to make it a little bigger. I got it at Hancock years ago.
